An interesting engrossing film which seemed a blend of Brazil, 1984, Monty Python, The Handmaid's Tale, where the viewer expectations are constantly thrown. Like the above mentioned, it offers a pretty bleak society and no happy ending.

Great film, sharp script, keeps the interest and involvement high through out, great acting from principal and minor parts, portraying a time in USA history when truth and integrity were under threat, pretty relevant to today's US under the current president and government

Slow and gripping, a sense of menace through out enhanced by the atmospheric and daring score, brilliant acting from the principals, a taut script and a dispassionate portrayal of a fraught time in US history without the usual ra-ra which accompanies so many American movies but chooses to show the country warts and all.

A little slow, quite talky, lacked frissant and any genuine scares. Well acted and produced, thoroughly professional but overall a bit dull.
