Sadly this move is a master class in what not to do. If anything it demonstrates how important the role of good writing, directing, and editing is, etc. In this example, and many others, there have been examples of movies with actors who have done so well in other roles and other movies - but without the strength of powerful storytelling and the creative vision to bring it to life and execute it in a compelling way makes the whole thing appear juvenile. If anything, it illustrates how masterful the greats truly are in this craft. That said, I share this not to beat up on this movie, but to point out how much talent by all involved, combined effort, hard work, and vision it takes to make a great movie. Not claiming to be able to do any of that, only respecting those who can.
