I think it deserves a 3.5, rating 5 because it will raise it more. Really makes you imagine the world, almost places you in the movie trying to figure it out along with the main character. Pretty good thriller. I normally criticize movies and characters for stupid things, and I did that a few times with this movie, like the amount of noise she would make, but still very enjoyable. The movie is pretty logical, besides the incredibly advanced technology that can't be explained, but that will be the same in almost every sci-fi CGI was really good, I don't understand the other reviews?? [SPOILER] One thing that bugged me was her not following through with the police? And even if she didn't, other survivors would, and there would've been a national announcement about the invasion. Humans wouldn't just be taken over so smoothly with no resistance, even if the resistance is tiny I get the moral debate on if she deserved the happy life after killing her friend at 12, and I think they were acknowledging the fact that she was young and doesn't deserve that torture anymore from the entire town, living in isolation.
