This film doesn't have the architecture of the previous movies of the same name, sadly. No, there isn't time for any character development - nor is there need - but the "scares" are methodical and too "planned".

Nothing more than never-ending mind-numbing special effects that are nothing special and wall-to-wall noise - that's all. Poor movie.
