I knew that the movie could not be compared to Manmadhudu (part 1) even before watching part2, but I regret to say that very honestly I did not see this coming from Nag sir. It’s a total disaster. Leave alone comparison with part 1, his age, heroines age, the age gap and remaining other aspects on which the movie has received negative criticism, keeping all these apart, anyone who watches this movie even without having any knowledge about the part 1 or the lead actor’s popularity will definitely not appreciate it, because it doesn’t sink in. Theres no emotion in this movie. Infact Rakul did good though but sam or chinmay’s voice again changed the whole perspective it is only rakul who’s acting and sam/chinmay who's actually talking.
I wish the outcome would have been much much better only if he could have realized how this story would turn out as a movie as the way the story moved is total gross.
But I also did hear few sensible and worthy/meaningful dialogues during some scenes.
Not necessary that every movie you watch should you be able to connect to it but definitely should not leave you with “a silly movie with all good/lead actors”feel.
