I wanted to start reading books again, so when I seen the cover my interested piqued instantly. A YA fantasy novel that revolves around a black girl, by a black women? There was no way I was going to pass this up. And for the first time in years I sat down and read a book, I didn’t get distracted, I didn’t lose Interest, nothing. I was so excited to get to the next page, read the next chapter, that I was late for work😹. A great book that I’m so happy that I picked up, extremely excited to read the second installment in the series!
