Go see this film in the theater. This is an ode to NYC!!!! It’s a wild ride. Also, I have to say it - it has lots and I mean lots of Black Culture references. Which brings me to a friend who said "NGL I didn't like it." I expected her to not like it whereas, many people don't get why Spike does what he does. He champions his Black lived experience through his films point blank period. Some mentioned the sound was too loud - maybe you have sensory issues. I'm watching it again on Apple TV after my 1st go round was in the theater. I loved it but then again I got into the film business because of Spike. Is what it is. This was not a Spike miss - don't listen to those who are picking apart this film.
