So tacky and even worse, dull. Channeling Zalman King but not a smidge as entertaining as even his worst and cheesiest material which was the height of cheesy 80’s smut. Lily Rose Depp does a fine job and shows some real pathos, how was she not advised to Run? How did this nerdy dck-head’s boring teen fantasy get green lit by HBO?! Yuck.

Everything the tacky and cringey The Idol could dream of being and could never be. A great and empathetically told story of two young free spirits who get caught up and exploited (somewhat) by a world beyond their experience. Told from their perspective it’s so realistic and reminds you of the joy and misery of being that age when everything felt possible and meant something.

Absolutely brilliant and truly unique. The best thing I have seen since Breaking Bad / early Better Call Saul. One of the rare shows that perfectly walks the line between dark comedy and pathos. Irreverent (a very Australian trait) and yet moving - you will laugh and cry in equal measure. I need a fourth season. Please.
