I love Evangelion and the ending while wasn't amazing to me was still great, but after watching this I was blown away. EoE I would say is one of the best constructed endings in fiction. When I went into it all I was expecting was a similar ending to the original but just with more mechs but oh was I wrong. EoE covers insane ideas and makes you go through a emotional rollercoaster that I'm not sure everyone will like. I was in love with the animation but also horrified from some of the imagery. They dive even more into Shinji and Aska, their relationship becomes one of the most interesting in fiction they also made me hate Shinji at times for his actions. Everything in this film was like a fever dream on 20 different levels. I didn't expect any of the outcomes of the story and was shocked and felt hurt by every twist. Every death, every sentence, every character, every Eva and angel, every location made me feel like I was in Shinji's mind and all I could think was they are all really alone. The way this film ends by the way is one of the most heartbreaking but beautiful endings I would say ever. If you have watched Evangelion and really really liked it then yes watch EoE but honestly if you weren't a huge fan and didn't understand a lot it might be best to leave this one aside and people that can't handle horrific scenery I also wouldn't recommend this too. In my opinion it is a perfect end for a perfect show EoE is a easy 5 stars.

I really don't know how to describe this show. I went in expecting a mecha and came out changed. Evangelion is not what it looks like on the surface. I would even go to say it isn't even really a mecha it's incredibly character driven which leads to strong connections us as the audience makes with them. So seeing every episode go through all these issues was heartbreaking to see these characters struggle. It made me completely forget about the Eva's and just get invested in the characters and world. It is a very complex story and plot that requires you to think and make some of your own assumptions. I would even say the series is a mental health awareness show, without trying to spoil Shinji the main protagonist has many mental health issues and the way the show deals with them and and thread them into the main plot is absolutely perfect. I can tell that this was a passion project and the team behind it put their all into the show. The animation holds up amazingly. With every fight there is I was craving more but also craving more of the characters. My one minor issue is the ending I'm not the biggest fan it is a very open ended one and put up for a lot of interpretation. I really did like what they did with it and how it's more of a character ending not action, but I do prefer End Of Evangelion a little more I think both actually make eachother better together though. In all Evangelion is amazing but I wouldn't really recommend to someone who's into the shonen genre I think everyone should give it a chance but it isn't a very typical anime at all and covers very heavy topics. But in my opinion it is one of the best anime and shows I have ever seen easily 5 stars.

I love Naruto Shippuden and how it expands the shinobi world. Personally I like it better then Naruto. I think the characters are better in Shippuden and the themes are too. I always felt for Naruto in the original but I definitely feel a lot more for him during this series. The new characters feel more developed same with older characters that didn't quite get the spotlight they deserved. With that being said while yes it has some of my favorite characters and moments in anime or even fiction there are problems. A lot of issues feel unresolved by the end and big plot holes don't feel nearly explained enough. I absolutely love some of the villains in this series but some are so lack luster there were times where I felt very dissatisfied and disappointed with how a villain is beat or even dealt with as characters. I will note though that the action in this series is amazing and really is great and exciting. But what always bothers me coming back is the final arc I won't go into spoilers but man does it feel so disappointing and how the anime specifically ends felt like a stab in the back to the fans I do know the manga has a way better ending but the anime one sucks. I do yet again love the characters and world and it is one of my favorites overlooking the flaws. So, I'd recommend to anyone who loves action and martial arts shows, people who like some important themes about life and perseverance, and those who like putting something on and just enjoying. Note if you do pick up this series and decide to watch it, I recommend watching Naruto first which feels like a no brainer but there are people I know who have tried Shippuden first and get a little confused.

Specifically I will be talking only about Naruto and not Shippuden. So, Naruto is definitely high on my list of favorites but it does also have its flaws. I definitely recommend to people into the martial arts genre because some of the fights are amazing I fell in love with some of the characters during the first few seasons. I would like to state that I love characters like Shikamaru and other characters but it really does feel at times they get no spotlight apart from the genin exam they don't have much to do which I understand it's kind of a origin but I still would have liked more but the characters you do get much of like Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi is great I love the characters so much! But people like Sakura don't feel very necessary to the plot and like major side thoughts. I love the ending of the series and felt it left off on a good note for Shippuden to kick off on. Apart from minor criticisms I think if you love a very action driven series you'll probably love the show and overlook some of the issues I definitely recommend for those who are wanting a good show to put on and be immersed in the world and action! Once finished though definitely watch Shippuden!!

One word "bonkers" Gurren Lagann is able to embody the mecha genre perfectly but it isn't just a "mecha anime" it's an anime that shows the struggles of pushing forward. Each individual character feels that they have their own hopes and dreams and us as the audience wants to see them be fulfilled. It really makes you think and ponder about what you're watching in the best ways possible. I will admit there are times where it can get confusing but the show is pretty good at getting you back on track and understanding the plot. Each episode feels like an upgrade from the last, improving on things each and every episode. The animation is breathtaking and had me enthralled every second. The action is stellar, the characters are relatable, the villains are threatening, the plot is with all things considered peak fiction. Gurren Lagann is a must watch for those who love action, comedy, thrills, stunning visuals, and a very loveable cast of characters. Gurren Lagann is definitely one of the best anime I've ever watched.
