The album is a masterpiece. Taking its queue from 60’s 70’s film soundtracks as a starting point the band avoided pastiche, producing and album that in other hands would sound like a tribute.
Then there’s Alex turners lyrics. A masterclass in the art form.

This film would’ve bored Bonnie And Clyde into submission, this sparing the rest of us.
Criminally underused cast; banal script and a director who believes beautiful moody shots of Depression era America lends gravitas to this superficial film so light on insight into the character and plot it resembles a Dill weed blowing across the range
