Invasion tv series by Apple is one of the better sci-fi serials I've seen in a while. The main cast stays congruent throughout the three seasons. While the story does not delve into the aliens or their reason for the invasion, the storyline does highlight the juxtaposition of the human elements in their opposing views of the aliens and whether they are the annihilators or the saviors of mankindor and their willingness to destroy one another over their beliefs. Character development was very good and I'm hoping to see at least one more season.
