I was expecting this to be terrible which is why I've probably come off better than some other reviews. It's a low budget affair and clonky for most part, but I actually didn't mind it too much. The original wasn't exactly brilliant acting either, but the set pieces were stunning. This one hasn't got the budget for that polish, so it's a deserved direct to dvd affair. However, I've seen far worse and that includes some sequels that actually did have a cinema release and huge budget. It's enjoyable and forgettable, fine for a quiet afternoon viewing.
