This latest version of Breakfast Television is quite simply not working. I have always been a BT supporter throughout its various iterations but, try as I might, I can no longer watch this mess of a program. Understanding that it takes time for a program to find its “legs”, there is just no chemistry between the two lead hosts. In fact at times, they are each unappealing, awkward and even offensive. Their puerile attempts at humour are most often pathetic to watch. I can only hope that once this abject failure is internalized, deconstructed and revamped, I will once again be able to enjoy some quality programming as part of my morning routine. Until such time though, count me out!
