Omg all the scenes with Galadriel on the boat. Every SINGLE one is pointless. Listen up, the first movies were great! Probably 90% true to source material. The hobbit… was kinda okay. But only 25% correct. And OMG so so so overdone, but that’s what happens when you take 1 good book half as big as any LOTR series book and try and stretch it over 3 movies. This? It has interesting sections. A lot of worldbuilding and lore stuff. Which, okay, that’s expected. But why is there so much pointlessness? Pointless water scene, pointless rocks scene (and hey you just banished Elrond forever in front of an audience), pointless king of elves CHARACTER, because if you’re in agreement about a threat and you’re a king then you do what you want.
