Dune was very disappointing to me. The storyline did not come thru and at times was barely comprehensible. The characters were one dimensional as was the acting. One the whole, I’m sad to say that it was not only pretentious but, also, dare I say, boring. The sound mixing didn’t work, too much background ambiance muddled the dialogue.
