When Wordle was launched it was Free, but that is not the case now since acquisition by the New York Times. Yes you can play the first part, but you are denied the Statistics unless you pay. A great shame and a total misrepresentation on the part of NYT, as a Pensioner nearing the end of life I cannot justify paying and whilst I can still enjoy finding the correct word the refusal to allow the statistics without payment takes away some of the fun.
