The casting, acting and cinematography are incredible. However, I found the constant back and fourth between years/generations to be painful. Sometimes it would be seconds of one scene then back again. I felt the way it was structured could have made a vast difference. Packinko is one of the best books I have read. But I have always despised the storyline and characters of the 4th generation. I find Solomon and Hana’s story nothing more than tedious which I obviously found in the series too.
