(THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS) Even in my first watch I could already find loopholes. Loophole 1: During the final battle, Giselle could just say, “I wish” and then her thoughts…like the things she says IN HER BRAIN, happen in real life. But later when Malvina threatens to kill Morgan to stop Giselle from wishing everything back to normal, she can’t?! Why can’t she just think that everything will go back to normal…she did it just now. Loophole 2: When Giselle is dying, Morgan is asking what to wish for. Even though before she gets sent to Andalasia, Giselle explains that she wished for a fairytale life and it backfired, and asks her to fix it before she pushes her into the wishing well. But now when Giselle’s dying she doesn’t know what to wish for? Giselle just told her a few moments ago… This one isn’t a loophole, just a question. I wanna know if this film has an accurate depiction of DID. Giselle starts switching back and forth between regular her and her wicked stepmother version of her, and even has conversation with the other version of her. Lasting words, this movie is weirdly written. Only a few songs slap as well as the first movie’s songs. The focus of the movie changes…like in the beginning it’s a movie about a teenager struggling with new things in life. Then the rest of the movie is a villain vs. villain story. Also Tyson and Robert do nothing in this movie. Atleast it looks really pretty, the costumes are ok, it captures parents embarrassing they’re children really well, and Amy Adams and Idina Menzel do amazing.
