It definitely wasn’t as good as the original, but what ever is? I couldn’t make myself give it a better score, but I have a rewatched planned for tomorrow with someone who only watched Part I tonight. So… We’ll see, I guess.*
Overall, though, I enjoyed it. 🤷🏻♀️ I dare anyone who says it’s “woke garbage” to A) define “woke,”; 2) explain exactly why “woke” is bad; and C) point out 5 sequels that were better than the original.
We all knew what this was gonna be. And for what it was, I thought it was, at least, enjoyable.
