It's not good news, I'm afraid. First, the plot is very slow; this is largely because A LOT of the text is dedicated to the incredibly unfocused dialogue between the characters. This dialogue largely consists of the characters describing the current situation to each other in tedious, drawn-out parodies. None of their conversations actually felt genuine. It gets very tedious. When something happened that was supposed to be creepy, it was difficult to take it seriously as the character's responses to those scenarios were very incoherent. I often found myself second guessing as to whether something scary actually did take place or whether I'd just misinterpreted one of the character's muddled descriptions of events. Zero suspense achieved.
