Such a beautiful movie with such a beautiful actress. My son enjoyed it just as much as I did. Many negative reviews are from close minded people who watched the movie with the original in mind. Don’t compare the two! Enjoy the underwater experience for what it is and you’ll enjoy it so much more. Ariel is known for her voice, and trust that Halle understood the assignment. And I squealed when I realized Daveed Diggs played Sebastian! I can’t wait for it to hit Disney+ so I can rewatch.
