Brilliant film this the US complacent attitude prevelant at the time at the hawain navy base.flying scenes are brilliant as they are real now cgi.no stupid love story in the background .A real treat if you haven't seen it before.

Just watched this for the first time since I saw it at the cinema in 1971. I think it stands up very well, the sound track is good . It portrays a period of time that has now passed.
