An interesting film—less reliant on the simple, familiar sarcasm of Lanthimos’ earlier work, and instead far more intense, perhaps influenced by Fargeat’s style. The plot is sharp, the scenes are meticulously crafted, and Stone delivers yet another outstanding performance.
