Mr Smith

I started reading this book after I read an answer on quora recommending this book. The answer stated that this is a kind of a love story book but after reading the book I think the book is more based on the abuse that womans have to go through. Almost all the males with the exception of Atlas are shown in a bad light. The author tries to cover up the bad things done by the female characters by putting the men in an abusive manner in response. I know that lily's father shouldn't react the way he did when he saw Atlas. Giving food to a homeless person is a good thing but inviting a stranger to your house for shower. I think this is a stupid idea. The Author also shows that a woman shouting is woman empowerment but a man shouting is abusive.

I was little disappointed a little with Sheri after reading her previous book which is " A couple next door". But In my opinion this book was a lot better than the previous. I really like the atmosphere and the concept of involvement of several characters. Every one is stranger to each other and stuck in a bad whether. The thing which disappoints me about the book was it's ending. Like they find the killer it didn't came as a shock or something. Right now away from the idea that I will read any more of her books.
