I came in not expecting a lot, but this movie is actually really good! Pretty much spot on to the biblical story, and brings the people to life in a way not many other movies can claim to have done. There’s not a single dull moment, and the pacing is excellent. I’d rate this a 9.5/10, would 100% recommend to anyone interested!

This book is absolutely incredible and gut-wrenching to read. Chalet 27 (I think, the one before the epilogue) actually had me crying ugly tears (and for whatever reason I don’t really cry over books, the last time I did was reading Goblet of Fire when I was 10).
**SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING**
I needed more space to grieve for Finnick and Prim. I had to stop reading (and scream into a pillow) for about half an hour just to process this (and then I had to do that again after the book finished)
I didn’t really care about the other people dying though except for Boggs, those people at the hospital and Bonnie and Twill (presumably)

God-tier level book. Unless you’re very adverse to violence I’ll continue to recommend this book until I’m 6 feet under and maybe I won’t even stop then.

Gosh I didn’t expect this movie to be rated a 2.9. I get that it isn’t as good as its predecessors, but it still holds up and I’d still rewatch this one, even just for the buttercup scene.

This one was good. The hanging tree/dam scene is still burned into my brain a month later.
If I had a 4.5 star option I’d pick it, because this is too good for a 4 star rating but falls short on a couple of aspects that I missed from the books, especially Katniss and Finnick’s friendship. And the scene when Haymitch steals her food lol.
But this was a genuinely good movie, better than some reviews I’ve been seeing, and at least better that MJP2 and TBOSAS’s adaptations 💀

Out of the (currently) 4 books and five movies, this was honestly my least favourite book, but my second favourite movie (nothing, and I said NOTHING can beat the OG (actually maybe the mockingjay book (actually idk)))
Thankyou for Johanna and Finnick.
Only problem is they didn’t adapt Katniss and Finnick pranking Peeta but I can ignore that.

Single-handedly the best movie I have ever watched in my entire life and the best book-to-movie adaptation in the history of humanity and the universe. Ok maybe I’m exaggerating that last part but even if you’re lazy with reading books you need to at LEAST watch this movie.
