Considering how good the first is i don't know whose idea 'ninja' as one of the zombies was, so lazy. Little Rock while adorable and quite good in the original is now an annoying teen and i couldn't get the resemblance to Hilary Duffs horrendous acting out of my head. The plot is cliche and just not particularly funny. Shame

A decent book that could have translated well to movie but was ruined by Blake lively looking near 50 and in ridiculously hideous outfits. The only time I've been able to reread a book and not see the actors is this book because she was so miscast. Alyssa and ryle weren't what i pictured but i liked them overall. There is criticism of the book that the domestic violence is played as a twist which i think is fair although i have to be honest it is a good twist if you're not personally affected. Movie i think tried to avoid that to some degree however could have been better and the marketing was embarrassing.
