Unlike a regular flowing film, I see this show more like a play.
Different scenes in different locations. Back and forth is staged.
Because the cinematography is limited, and compensated by miniature Jerusalem and same music to transfer locations, it creates a structure and frame which is acceptable.
Some scenes are powerful. Predictability didn't take away my enjoyment of the show
The jumping in time is fine. The unveiling of more info when going back and forth in the time period is creative.
Even though there is predictability, I am hooked.
