Great film, which i enjoyed although, Aethestan was homosexual? Who knew? It was never mentioned by the venerable bede, Assers life of king Aelfred or the anglosaxon chronicles. I suppose it wouldnt be though eh. Or maybe Netflix is overlaying history with a 2023 lens? Who knows.
