A few words won't do justice to this movie, much like the few minutes of Sam's entire life. Loved the movie. I stepped inside the cinema hall with an impression and the initial expectation of it just being a standard banal biopic movie. I can say I haven't been more glad lately to be proven erroneous. Vicky Kaushal was an absolute beauty. I don't think anyone else could have pulled off the act, the gait, and the accent with such finesse and suave. If not for anything else, one might even consider watching the movie just for him. The direction did beat around the bush for a few minutes here and there, but then the screenplay and direction are all about perspective, so no complaints here. The script was very strong, and to my surprise, much of it was drawn from Manekshaw's real-life colloquial. To connect the dots and wrap it up, it was refreshing to watch this movie after a plethora of flops and repetitive sequences in bollywood.

A truly thrilling ride from the very beginning, Tom cruise is the only actor who has decided all bounds of age and time. He's charming as ever with a stunning delivery. The movie has a amazing plot, substance, packed with action, emotional highs and lows and just the right amount of nostalgia to keep the adrenaline up and intact. Highly recommended!!!
