This movie catered to a generation I'm not apart of. Mutant dinosaurs is not what I associate with Jurassic Park. They made fun of themselves in the movie as well acknowledging "the people were bored of seeing the same dinosaurs so thats why they created mutant ones." The movie started slow before it became action packed. They definitely leaned heavily on tapping into the nostalgia with the music, and multiple scenes emulating the origional movie; (t-rex flair scene and raptor scene). The movie went downhill after the inflatable raft somehow survived the full bite of a t-rex and was then used to float down the river. The snickers wrapper causing the shut down was a total reach for ad money. This movie cashed in on it's past success for a quick buck. This franchise can do better, they need to go back to their roots of actual dinosaurs. Improve the script writing and get away from the belief that nobody wants to see dinosaurs, that's simply just not true.
