This broke the formula of why one even goes to see a Bond movie. He never dies, of course, he never gives up, he never except the first time really gets emotionally involved. It was not pithy, it was too cliché with the ho-hum declaration that the villain and Bond are the same, blah, blah. I will never get my time back.
