First of all, know that I love CBS Sunday Morning—it’s informative and always interesting. I’m a fan. That said, I’m feeling obligated to point out something that really troubled me about the 11/18/18 show dedicated to Food: the utter lack of diversity in showing regular people of color who own businesses or do neat things with food. Was there no one—outside of celeb couple JL and CT—that you could find who’ve achieved that? C’mon! There’s an expression I’ve aways liked, kind of like ‘food’ for other’s aspirations... “you can’t be what you don’t see.” I’d have liked to have seen more diverse images of success on this show. Thanks for providing a forum for my feedback.
