Goodish. I love a period piece. Cynthia Nixon was cringe here. Her poor accent, breathishness, pep, pearl clutch vibe was over done and came off as forced. Some other acting felt a bit forced at times but was mostly good.

This movie has some serious antisemitism going on. They used Max to portray the classic antisemitic trope of Jewish people being rich, manipulative, and controlling. It’s disturbing that this is done so casually. He is the only person with a religious identity and it was not necessary. Ideas and perspectives are spread subliminally through movies. Really ruined this movie for me.
