Lily Street

My whole life I have been a massive fan of the Wonka movies, and story. I was so excited for this one, and I left the theatre so insanely disappointed. It seemed as though they filmed this movie after the very first story draft and didn’t make any changes when things didn’t make sense. Everything was CGI and seemed incredibly unrealistic. Heartbreaking, since the budget for this movie was incredibly high. They must have spent the entire budget on getting Timothee Chalamet, and made everything else from the change in their pockets. All I have to say is Johnny Depp must be very happy that his version has not been topped, this 2023 movie is a joke, and an insult to Roald Dahl’s story. I wish I had never watched it. ):
