Adam’s acting is the only saving grace in this boring movie, and I don’t like his acting style usually. This is the first time I’ve really like his acting and it was wanted on a terrible movie

I had to take a few days to decide if I liked this movie or not. Initially, I hated it but I released it was only because I did not expect this kind of movie. Those offended by the message really need to take a step back and look at the reality of our society and the expectations that are put on women and the issues that comes with patriarchy. I’ve decided I really like it and it’s a message that wasn’t exaggerated. Be warned, it is NOT a kids movie. The PG rating is because of the lack of sexual content, swearing and nudity which was refreshing but I feel that the message would be lost on the younger ones. It was bright, colourful and fun despite highlighting the issues within our society.

I tried so hard to push through the first episode but it was too painful. Seriously, what’s wrong with you people smearing agendas throughout entertainment. Whatever happened to fun entertainment without the ‘messaging’? The show is as bad as Disneys woke BS. Possibly even worse which speaks volumes.

Shyamalan did a great job of this movie and I almost loved it as much as The Sixth Sense and Signs. I don’t understand the hate it receives but I guess if you watch with no expectations and an open mind, you’ll probably enjoy it. I certainly did. In saying that, I’m not sure I’d rewatch it over and over like I do Signs. Please make Signs 2!

The movie Soul has a wonderful message of love, acceptance and finding your soul purpose and passion for life. The message gets lost in the hypocrisy of the backhanded racism and the comment calling a white woman's voice ‘annoying’. I would have offered five stars if it weren’t for this comment and the lack of diversity.
