So much of the criticism is accurate... " it teaches rebellion against parents, the Catholic Church, lack of respect for her culture, losing her virginity with enough explicit details afforded to the reader. " or she "body shames her brother"... all true! Which made it fabulous and irreverent and wonderful and a great look into the heart of a teenager!!!
