Beautiful animation...but what the heck was it all about? Gonna have to watch an explanation on YouTube.

Ok. WOW. M3gan IS the definition of rogue AI and the movie itself made me feel tense, scared and concerned considering modern world AI advancements. It was scary though it felt a bit empty. The ending is pretty satisfying. A good family horror movie i'd say.

Really cool, impactful and intriguing from the characters to music and environment! Enjoyed it. I am not a fan of horror BUT I do like some good classics (I consider it a classic xD)

Kind of a far-cry from the first movie. It's not as impactful nor as intriguing. I simply enjoyed a bit of lore and the cool effects. The story is somewhat meh.

I don’t know WHAT the writers were thinking. They’re lucky I’m giving them 2 stars. There’s no story, character development or even a point to their existence. They're boring and flat. The story doesn’t lead anywhere. 2 hours wasted. It’s just some morons “running” away from some “cyber assault” (which sucked) from either China, Iraq etc. Sure, the barge crashing and Teslas colliding was cool, but that’s it. By the end of the movie, we see some explosions in the city and that’s it, the end. The movie ends with a girl watching Friends - roll credits. I don’t know what’s worse, the movie “Nope” or this.

My grandma got the idea to watch this movie from some Russian YouTuber. All of us sat through it, it was all over the place with some humour. While my mom and grandma sat on a couch, I just scrolled through reddit feed

What happened to the series? There was so little content or story/character development. The characters went to a few places, talked a whole lot, ran into a bad guy, made a plan and then had a fighting sequence and that’s the end. I did not feel the characters. It didn’t feel like “Matrix”. It felt like a parody. And on top of all that we got some blue-haired woman as a symbol of empowerment who has strong Batwoman vibes. Make a movie about the story and not a way to push some agenda. Don’t insert new modern politics or norms. Keep developing the story, and not forcing a diverse cast. If the movie has a pattern, and rhythm, don’t alter it, no matter what year it is. It’s about consistency and staying true to what the whole series is about. I’m not a film director or someone with experience at directing, or writing a movie. I’m just a student, but I know what Matrix is. Also, that new Morpheus just killed me as well.
