🔥🔥83/101. ⚡I love this film but it doesn't change the fact that i am disappointed with it. It is not a typical superhero film, it is about a family breaking apart as emotions rise with each member. There is forgiveness in the end and understanding. Sophie Turner's Jean Grey was really outstanding. I hope she will be on the MCU reboot. Xavier had this egoistic attitude at the start which spices up conflicts along the movie. Magneto, of course, will always be emotionally driven when it comes to his closest individuals and will do everything for them. Storm's power capabilities were almost comic-accurate.
My rate would be 8.5/10 solely because this movie is unique although there should've been more scenes wherein the should fill the missing pieces of the movie. And by the way, Peter as a son of Magneto was never revealed and that was one dissapointing thing about this explosion. There is still the superhero essence and the mutant scent of the original x-men franchise. The thing that stood out for me is how family works on every character, on how they view it and how they resolve problems. I think if the viewers will free themselves from the greatness of the original saga and be open minded, they will see the light of the movie.
