I love to read the old books from the 19th and early 20th Century. Especially when they were 'topical' subjects at the time, and written for the current living generation; and not for 'posterity.' This book fits the bill. Some American history that is never talked about. The Filibusters. In 1900 It meant something entirely different from it's current use to describe a tactic used in the Senate.
