Can't imagine how much some of the positive reviewers had to be paid for such stellar accolades but this was comparable to a strange trip of perhaps shrooms. That's what the scriptwriter and every other person associated with this film must have been on in the process of making the film. The conversations are tedious and it just keeps slipping into a deep abyss of ridiculous stupidity. The preview gave us the impression this film was sort of in the similar drama mystery style as Knives Out. This is nothing remotely of the sort. If you are looking for a weird shock value cultish artsy film then this might entertain you. If you're looking for a reasonably well written film with conventional sensibilities then you might be better off seeing the Menu once it's a $3 Redbox rental or better yet a freebie you can catch a nap on. Watching it is IMHO is a nightmare. Cast stellar, film dog dung.
