Sometimes authors get so caught up in trying to be politically correct the book suffers. This was one book I just lost interest in while reading. Going back and forth between they/them and her/him as well as average writing and a very familiar average storyline just makes me sigh with boredom. This was not a book that held my interest and being an avid reader it was just disappointing.
