Tried to see what the hype was all about and honestly the Rotten Tomatoes rating is a lie. The only thing unsettling is how annoying the main character is and she only gets more annoying. Nothing on the actress as I'm sure the story is written that way (in which case, she did an amazing job btw) since the character actions seems to be going according to the very predictable plot. There's failure to get the audience to care about the characters. I saw a video about how this is the scariest movie based on it increasing someone's heart rate, I think it's actually heart rate increase due to annoyance (aka stress).
