Outstanding movie. Having grown up in the south my father taught all of us how to shoot at an early age so i can very well relate to the two boys. I was a 10 year old girl when i learned how to shoot a double barrel shotgun. My father had to sit behind me to absorb the kick. This is indeed how we won the war against the British.....Americans coming out of the woods to fight for our country. It's truly an amazing story. Here we are hundreds of years later and despite all the other options, almost everyone on earth wants to be in the very place these people created.

So Ryan Seacrest isn't as awful as i expected him to be but i recently saw a rerun of a Wheel show with Pat Sajak and was reminded just how incredibly masterful Sajak was at that job. Such sharp intelligent humor! And of course after 43 years we're all used to hearing his voice so it was comforting. So glad Vanna is still on. Without her i would never watch again. Women shouldn't be fired because they do the human thing of aging.

I wanted to like this movie because there are great 1980 nyc street scenes but it's pretty awful. If there is any story at all I've missed it. Im pretty sure Bogdonovich made it just so he could have Stratton in a film and he could look like hot shit for putting her in it. Not sure what anyone every saw in John Ritter as an actor. BUT seeing my NYC before it was turned in to the G*d awful tourist trap it is today is pretty glorious.

I like Bruce Willis and love Morgan Freeman and want to like all their movies but this movie is just awful! Awful! Not the actors fault..... terrible writing. There is no plot to follow. No suspense. No story. Some have commented that it's a comedy. No it isn't. They're isn't one funny line in the entire movie. Don't waste 2.5 hours of your life on this garbage. Rent Die Hard instead. You know that's good.

This is one of my nightmares.... to be stuck with awful neighbors. Fortunately, i live in an apartment in nyc and told the owner that i had to live on the top floor so there would be no one above me to make noise. He obliged. I've been lucky that only one neighbor beside me has been noisy. The others have been incredible and keep to themselves and don't blast music. This show is terrifying because people can be such complete a holes. Like the truly hideous people that wouldn't leave the veteran alone.
