Sadak 2 review -
Veteran Director Mahesh Bhatt has made a comeback after 21 years with an outdated half baked routine drama. Sadak was a cult classic film of 1991 but it's sequel is utter nonsense. Neither the plot is engaging nor its characters are normal. The basic story idea of fake Godmen is not at all explored. The screenplay is full of implausible twists & turns. Dialogues are outlandish & doesn't impress. Sanjay Dutt gives his heart & soul to the character of Ravi Kishore. His subtle performance is praiseworthy. Alia Bhatt is good in few scenes but largely doesn't shine. Aditya Roy Kapoor is fully wasted. Jisshu Sengupta makes his presence felt. Rest of the cast lends caricaturish support. Songs are very melodious & perhaps the biggest takeaway from this lacklustre film. Disappointing watch 👍 1 star.
