Today I saw Stanislav Petrov's documentary for the first time. I was very overwhelmed and, like all people, I will forever be grateful to him for listening to his heart and not to the protocol of military doctrine.
Does anyone know what day this incident took place in 1983?
One day the Russians will be proud of a true hero and build a monument to him. Rest in Peace Colonel Stanislaw Petrov and hopefully united with your late wife by God.
