I sat down to watch this with my niece. I was so excited bc I read the books and I thought the show would be great for her. AND THEN gay, transgender, and witchcraft hit in one episode. When I saw sensitive topics I never imagined it would be those, since they are not really in the books. It made me uncomfortable because it was my niece and I don’t really feel comfortable discussing those topics with her, that is for her and her parents to tackle. It’s unfortunate that this is now considered kit appropriate material. Let the kids grow up a little before shoving your personal beliefs In their face.
