What an inspiring film! Thank you Netflix for featuring more wholesome entertainment that is not offensive for (many of us) older seniors who hunger for new programing. I don't often watch films about sports, so it was a pleasure and refreshing change when I learned Bill Nighy, a favorite actor (who is my age), had a starring role. Best of all, it was so exciting seeing such a multicultural young cast in their roles as competitive soccer players from many countries, especially because, I must admit, I was not aware there was a Homeless World Cup completion. Although the movie was both heartbreaking and enlightening when learning about the stories of the players from the countries featured, the movie’s main theme was really about comradery, friendship, and teamwork. I loved it!

TOO VULGAR. I DISLIKED THE USE OF DRUGS AND PROFANITY THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE.

I am glad I finally watched this wholesome series. Even though I remain a devoted fan of the original 1985 Anne of Green Gables, the Netflix series included additional characters and plots that made it almost as enjoyable.
