Well written and you feel quite invested in the characters. Then the whole book falls apart in the last 5-6 chapters. Just lots of random and nothing ties up at all… you spend all this time following Kvothe in the university, then you find out, oh he just gets kicked out… huh? Just a weird anti-climactic ending. Disappointing.
