Too many people are going overboard with the criticism. Is it really that bad? Not really. Unless you don't want to see how the events crossover directly from the first move onto this one. Edith? Well, you also get to see how she became supposedly adopted. The chainsaw being thrown scene was epic. Jed looks kind of badass as well. His chainsaw also looks terribly frightening. What more could a horror fan ask for? Unless you expect perfection, I'd give this a watch and see for yourself if it's actually as bad as some critics on here are making out. Some people tried to say the original Halloween was pathetic when it came out. But now look at it. Sometimes its even referred to as the greatest slasher movie of all time and one of the great horrors of its time. This Texas Chainsaw Massacre may not be the best. But I thought it was a refreshing take on the Sawyer story. Some people are harsh critics. I mean, some people even criticised Terminator 2. Now, that should tell you all you need to know about some critics. They go overboard. How anyone managed to criticise T2 judgement day is beyond me. But that's why you should make up your own opinion on the 2013 Texas chainsaw 3d. Don't let others make that opinion for you. 👍
