Average Joe was a poorly written series and very difficult to watch for any non “brain dead” viewer. The plot was average at best, which is not saying much given the current draught of intelligent, good quality movies or television shows being offered to the public. The casting is the ONLY thing that saved this lame excuse for entertainment. Deon Cole is highly talented and respected and deserved a far better vehicle to showcase his dramatic talents! This series would have been far better served with a writer that respected both the cast and the audience for which it was targeted for. DO BETTER!
